Vacation to Montana and Yellowstone
We took a vacation to Montana to see our cousins. We went skiing, and we went to Yellowstone National Park. I learned how to ski and a few hpurs after our lessons, I took on any run as if I had skied all my life. We took a very scenic run on the last day of skiing but I was told it was scenic because I was speeding down that mountain at 100 mph. -
Vacation to Mackinac Island
Recently we took a vacaiton to Mackinac Island in northern Michigan. They do not allow any motor vehicles on the island so, we either rode bikes or took a horse drawn carraige everywhere. We also listened to the Grand Hotel's historian for one and a half hours. There are only 11 wood-framed hotels left in America out of 1,200 that were originally built, and the Grand Hotel is one of them. The Grand Hotel was built in1887 in 93 days and did not make any profit until the 195o's.
