Growing up
When I was 15 I moved away from my biological family and the town they lived in, by choice, and started my new journey in Crescent, OK. I lived with 3 families through out my high school years, but worked and supported myself. It was the best decision I made for myself. During my first week in Crescent I met Ryan, a youth minister that became very important to me and my path. -
When I met my husband
I was out for my best friends birthday and Michael was at the same place playing darts with his friends. I joined and we talked for a couple of hours and exchanged numbers. -
The passing of Ryan
Ryan was my favorite person in the world, before my husband. He was my youth minister from high school and helped me through some of the hardest, darkest moments of my life. This loss was devastating. -
Breaking ground on our home
The day they broke ground on our lot we went there with 2 of our best friends and popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate. -
OU Medicine
This is the day I started with OU Medicine. I started out as a Senior Accountant, but within a year I was promoted to a Financial Analyst. I absolutely love my job and the company I work for. -
The Proposal
Michael and I went to Mexico with our two best friends to celebrate one if their birthdays, well that is what I was told. Actually, the friends helped Michael hide that this trip was really so he could propose! -
