The Munich Conference
Hitler wanted Czechoslovakia (Sudentenland). They resisted Hitler and the Soviet Union and France backed them up. British prime minister Neville Chamberlain gave Hitler Sudetenland if he would't take all of Czechoslovakia and peace. He invaded and broke up Czechoslovakia later.
Hitler was aggressive in geting land. -
Danzig and the Polish Corridor
Hitler wanted Danzig. He wanted to connect Poland, Germany, Danzig and East Prussia with railroads and highways. Britian and France knew appeasements failed so they supported Poland to refuse Hitler.
Hitler wanted more access which meant he wanted more land to aquire his goal. He didn't care as to how others reacted. -
The Nazi Soviet Pact
Hitler wanted Poland next, but he made a deal with the Soviet Union to keep peace. USSR said that they would give up Polish lands if Germany was kept out of war with British and France.
Hitler was trying to gain more land, one after the other. -
