Johannes Gutenberg set out to create a machine that could produce pages at a very fast speed. quickly he established the basics of his machine. Within 10 years the printing press was put out to commercial use. This Machine was mostly used for the church most famous work was the 42 line bible. -

Christopher Columbus left the Spanish port on August 3 1492 to attempt reaching Asia by sailing west. On this day he had three ships the Nina the Pinta and the Santa Maria. this was about two months long journey that his crew endured. on October 12, 1492 they finally where did all this ball island in the Caribbean's at first the crew believe that they have reached Asia they have not this had opened up a whole new world. -

in 1494 Ludovico Sforza permits The French invasion of Italy. he did this to try to weaken the king of Naples (his enemy). The first invitation that occurred due to this failure but the French return, and for a period of time competition for Italians begin. -

Went to rome.
At the age of 21 Michelangelo went to Rome for the first time to create a sculpture to go into a side chapel at Old St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. It was said that this sulpture would be so successful that it helped launch Michelangelo’s career unlike any previous work he had done. -

In 1497, Michelangelo created his first important work. including the "Bacchus" and "Cupid". he sold both of these works in Baldassare del Milanese. The Cupid was destroyed by fire in 1698. -

In 1524, Michelangelo begin his work on the Laurentin library. Here, he constructed a beautiful entrance floor walls and ceiling. Michelangelo also establish the library Badia Fiesolana. -

The sack of Rome
On May 6th, muddy troops of Spanish Catholic in German Lutheran got to Rome. They were resentful of the papacy and were raging as they entered the Vatican. The pope was hustled away to safety and the sack of Rome has begun. A few years later in 1530, the pope and emperor reconciled. -
