    Michelangelo was born on March, 6th, 1475. He was born in the small village of Caprese. His parents are Ludovico di Leonardo di Buonarotto Simoni and Francesca di Neri del Miniato di Siena. He grew up in Florence and became an artist's apprentice at age 13. For two years he studied the ways of becoming a sculptor.
