Brittain beat the allied forces of France and Spain. France and Spain had to give up land that they had in America to Brittain. France lost all major land in America which stopped the feud between the two over Tejas -
Marques De Rubi Report
The king of spain wanted to make sure that the mission systems were working in Tejas, so he sent Marques De Rubi. Marques spent two years inspecting the missions in Texas. After his report he made the following recommendations for Spain: Spain should abandon all missions in Texas except for the ones in San Antonio and La Bahia, San Antonio should then replace Los Adaes as the capitol of Texas, al off the settlers in Tejas should be moved to San Antonio to strengthen the defenses of the mission. -

Hidalgo called for a "Cry of Dolores" which was a cry for the end of Spanish rule. That cry sparked a war for Mexican Independence. -
Mexican Independence
A time when there was conflict between Mexico and the Spanish that started on September 16, 1810. It was later called the Mexican War of Independence. Mexico finally gained its independence from Spain in 1821.
