A lot of the Mayan cities became abandoned, this is important because they were often leaving these cities and had they stayed and expanded it would’ve made them a stronger empire. -

The Aztecs left their homeland at the turn of the 12th century, this is important because it is the beginning of their search for a new place to start their empire. -

The beginning of the Inca Empire
This is when Inca was founded by Manco Capac and Mama Ocllo. It is believed that they sunk the golden rod into the ground and began rising their empire there. -

Aztecs find a place to settle and start their empire
They settled near Lake Texcoco around 1250. And they founded Tenchochititlan around 1325. These dates are important because these are the dates that they found the place they would settle and begin their empire. -

Pacahcuti, World-Shaker, ascended to the throne. He plays an important role, he is one of the best emperors, under his rule the Incas began a series of quick expansions -

The Aztec Empire reached its height during the days of Ahuitzotl. He ruled the kingdom from 1486 to 1502. This is important because its when the Aztecs were at their peak, where they were the strongest. -

Herman Cortes and his fellow Spaniards landed on the Gulf Coast. This is the beginning of the end of the Aztec empire -

A Spaniard named Fancisco Pizarro organized an expedition to El Dorado. This is important because this is when the Spaniards are gonna come over to the Incas and destroy them. -

The end of the Aztecs
The Spaniards and the Tlaxcala sacked the capital city of Tenochtitlan on August 13, 1531 and brought the mighty Aztec Empire to its knees. This is the end of the Aztec empire -

Beginning of the end for Inca
The spaniards got ahold of Atahualpa and demanded a large ransom for his release, after receiving more than they could have possibly imagined, they executed Atahualpa in 1533. This is important because they have now killed their leader and when you kill the leader or even capture him its basically game over. -

The Spaniards caught tupac amaru, the last Sapa Inca. this marks the end of the Inca empire. -
