Their history lasts between these years, which is approximatly 3,697 years of recorded history. This this important because it shows how strong of an empire it was. -

The Mayans started building stone structures known as triadic structures. They had Mayan Gods made out on the top layer made with clay. This is important because this was usually the structure of their temples which was their religion (shows their religion.) -

The Mayan population was at it’s height with 250,000 people and this is important because this was the most people that lived in one city at the time. -

Maya cities were completely abandoned. No one knows why, and it’s important because of this, the most populated cities had power leaving the maya’s cities at war. (civil war) -

Again, Maya cities were abandoned, civilization collapsed, moving people towards the coast. This is important because it’s the mystery of Maya people. Also changing the way they live. -

Around the 1200s, the Inca Empire was founded and that's when they made Cuzco their capital. This is important because this is one of the first record of the Incas. -

Sinchi Roca ruled the empire. He is thought to be the actual emperor of the Incas because he was the first Sapa Inca or first ruler. -

The Aztecs settled near lake Texcoco, first recording of the Aztecs. Nothing much is known of the Aztecs before that and this is important because it's the first ever knowledge of them. -

Aztecs founded Tenochititlan which is basically the capital. This place is also known as "The Floating City" because it's built above water. This is where they became civilized as men/women. -

Pachacuti ascended the throne and he was the 9th ruler of the Incas. He expanded the empire down the coast of South America. -

Aztecs
Emperor Ahuitzotl raised the the empire to it's reigning days. This is important because they were at their peak, and shows importance of the great emperor. -

The Aztecs gave many human sacrifices (84,400 people) and this is important because it shows the importance of religion and religious dominance. They were so committed, they had a temple just for human sacrifice. -

In 1511 was the first contact with the spanish, and as time goes on to 1521, the aztecs invade Maya cities. Inland Mayas coexisted with the spanish in harsh conditions. -

Herman & allies invaded the Aztec Empire leaving Aztecs on their knees August 13, 1531 -

Pizarro, who was a spaniard, did an expedition which led to the discovery of the Inca Empire. This was the first contact with outsiders for the Incan Empire. -
Period: Nov 16, 1532 to Sep 24, 1572
Inca
The Spaniard attacked the Incas and through time, by 1572, the Incan Empire faded away.
