We also still wear some of these shoes today such as nike cortez and converse.

    Nike and Jordan had pretty much taken over the game as the most popular shoes at the time. Michael Jordan had become a superstar and everybody wanted to be like Mike with his signature sneakers. Also reebok was popular at this time with many NBA players but Michael Jordan ruled the public with his shoes.

Many of the shoes we wear today were released around this time like Air force ones, Air maxes and Vapor max.

Both of these two stars rocked the Nike brand and this is when Nike really started to put a staple in the shoe game establishing themselves as one of the best brands at this time.
