Lebron James was born in Akron, Ohio. He always enjoyed the game of Basketball. -
Being Recurited.
At an early age Lebron James showed such a natural talent for the game of Basketball. James was recruited by St. Vincent-St. Mary High School to join their basketball team in 1999. -
The Chosen One.
Word of his advanced basketball skills spread, and Lebron recieved many awards. As a high school sophmore he was chosen by Sports illustrated to write a article on, describing he would be a lottery pick in the NBA. He was the first ever to get chosen for this award. -
High School.
Being in High School Lebron James averaged 18 points per game. He helped his team to a Division title by scoring a big 25 points in the championship game. -
Lebron named Gatorade player of the year.
The following year Lebron was chosen as the Gatorade Player Of The Year. Sports writers were comparing him to legends like Michael Jordan. Coming to the end of his junior year James wanted to go pro. -
Senior Year.
Deciding to finish his education. Lebron James had a outstanding year on the court. He averaged 31.6 points per game leading his team the there 3rd staright title. Overall James avergaed 2,657 points, 892 rebounds and 523 assists during his four years at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. -
Making it into the NBA.
With Lebron's amazing stats it was no surprise he was the first chosen in the Nba draft that year. The Cleveland Cavaliers signed the powerful young forward and he proved to be outstanding on the court. The team ended in 8th the previous season. -
Rookie Of The Year Award.
During the 2003-04 season Lebron made history by becoming the first player in Cavalier history to win the Rookie Of The Year Award. He was also the youngest player to win the award. At age 20. -
Olympics
During the summer of 2004, Lebron made his debut at the games in Athens, Greece, as a part of the 2004 olympic basketball team. Lebron and his teammates earned a bronze medal as Argentina took the gold home that year. -
Lebron becomes A Dad.
Outside of his outstanding career, Lebron went through some changes in his personal life becoming a father welcoming a son Lebron Jr. -
All Star
James continued to dominate the court the following season. Upping his average 27.2 points per game. He made history again becoming the youngest to score more than 50 points in one game. He was selected for the NBA All Star Game. -
Playoff History
james helped his team defeat the Washington Wizards in the first round of the playoffs. The Cavaliers took on the Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference semifinals. James scored an average of 26.6 per game in this postseason but wasnt enough to make it farther. Lebron recieved many awards for his outstanding performance. -
Welcoming Bryce Maximus.
The Cavaliers proved to be stronger competitors the following season, making it all the way to the NBA finals, beating out Detroit to win the Eastern Conference. In the finals against the San Antonio Spurs the cavs lost there championchip in 4 consecutive games. During this time Lebron's Girlfriend gave birth to Bryce Maximus James. -
Helping the team out.
During the 2007-08 season Lebron continued to help the cavs improve there standing in the Eastern Confrence. They made it into the semifinals but were defeated by the Boston Celtics in seven games. Lebron outperfromed many players such as Kobe Bryant And Allen Iverson by averaging 30 points a game, the highest in the league. -
Bringing home the gold.
That summer Lebron traveled to Beijing, China along with Kobe Bryant, Jason Kidd and Dwayne Wade to be a part of the U.S Olympic Team. They ended up bringing home the gold after defeating Spain in the final round. -
Good Bye Cleaveland.
Early in the 2008-09 season sports journalists and writers began talking about Lebron's future in the league. He had the option to become a free agent in 2010. It was very hard for Lebron to leave Cleaveland but he came to his descion and chose Miami. Cleaveland fans were very upset as they burned his jersey. James finished second in the league during his first season with the Heat, scoring 26.7 points per game -
Path To Greatness Begins.
The 2011-12 season saw major sucess for Lebron and his team the Miami Heat. As they brang home a Championship defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder. It was James's first championship. In the final game James scored 26 points. -
Bringing home another gold medal.
James competed at his third Olympic Games in 2012, at the Summer Olympics in London, along with teammates Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony and Kobe Bryant. The U.S basketball team won a gold medal. Being James's 2nd consectuive gold medal. -
Passing A Great.
During the 2012-13 season, James made NBA history yet again: On January 16, 2013, at age 28, he became the youngest NBA player to score 20,000 points, succeeding Kobe Bryant of the Lakers—who became the youngest player to reach 20,000 points at age 29. -
Getting the 2nd ring.
As of today Lebron still dominates as he steps on the court. Only seeking to pass the great Michael Jordan. The heat won their 2nd consecutive championship defeating the San Antiono Spurs.
