Creation of the NCAA
The IAAUS (renamed to NCAA in 1910) is founded with the original 13 schools. it was developed in response to 159 injuries in 1905’s college football season, and it was meant to keep college football safer, but eventually other sports were added to NCAA, such as basketball. -

Reggie Bush's Heinsman trophy removed
After winning the extreme honor of teh heinsman trophy reggie bush had it removed because he had been paid to advertise a product. Not only are NCAA athelets not paid they are not allowed to be paid by companies like Nike or Adidas for clothes or shoe advertisment while they are in the NCAA. -
