growing up in Egypt
growing up in Egypt was both scary and fun. Shootings and fights were daily all over my city. But there was still family that cared friends that made me smile and were with me through thick and thin. -
The day my dad got shot
This is a day I will never forget, because on this day I didn't have enough knowledge to know that you can survive a bullet to the arm. My dad got into a fight because of me and somebody decided to pull out a gun and take a shot, while I was there watching my dad bleed and think it was over and I thought I was going to lose everything I had.. -
visting giza
We went to Giza the home of the pyramids to see how great and interesting our country's history is. -
getting in a fight because of my religion
This day was a day I never thought would come. I was threatened about believing in a certain religion, Christianity was what I believed in and I got in a fight just for believing in a religion that I was raised on. -
bad grades because of cockniess
I was always a A grade student and I let the cockiness get to me. and stopped caring because I thought this was too easy, the way my school system worked was the whole scored as in a ACT grading type. The scores were given to student and I was always in top 3. This year I got 6th place. Words cant explain how bad that day was, because in my country if your grades aren't literally straight 100s then you will never be anything. -
Coming to the United states
This was probably one of the best days of my life. On this day we were chosen out of thousands of people to come to the united states and I remember the mail man bringing the letter in a special packaging and my dad snatching it out my hand and reading it and just picking me up being extremely happy telling my mom and both of them just almost crying with tears of joy. -
Leaving family the night of the trip.
As you can imagine leaving all your family behind is obviously extremely sad, it wasn't the best day but the future was going to be better so we got through it. But definitely was a hard day letting go of family and friends. -
Fighting in school
My first day of school I was walking towards my class and a another student decided to snatch my books from me. By that time I was used to fighting over anything so I decided to start fighting him and he bled, which got me suspended -
Runninng away from the police
on this day someone crashed into my car in the back and I knew I didn't have a license or insurance or the registration of the car. So for some reason the police was already there and I decided to leave and speed off. -
Realizing that highschoool isnt a joke
My first year in high school I had a 2.7 second year was a 2.8 and that's when I came to a point of realization that i wont do anything with my life and I didn't accept failure which made me work really hard and brought my gpa up to a 3.7. -

I think I'm pretty funny, I like to make people smile and love seeing people having a good time -
athletic
I consider my self athletic because I workout around 5 times a week and I take weight lifting and body building pretty serious -
mature
I think I'm pretty mature because I work around 5-6 days a week and make money to help my family, and I learned a lot about life, and I'm a lot wiser then people my age. -
Hard worker
I am very hard working person maybe not at school, but I take my job very seriously and work my tail off -
wise
I think I'm pretty wise for someone my age, I have learned from my mistakes because I did everything wrong that can be done and I also learned from my dad and brother which have got in much trouble -
violent
I grew up in a violent city and it got to me -

I always try and I don't care if I fail, I will always try and take a risk -

since I have got in many trouble before I like to think before doing things -

I fight for everything that I want and I never stop trying. -

I don't give up on anything that I want or need and I work for it and no matter how hard it gets I do everything I can to get it done.
