Wuhu
I was born in the city of Wuhu in China. When I was a kid, everyone told me that Wuhu is a very "small" city. However, I finally found out that the population of Wuhu is more than 3 million! -
Summer trip to Beijing
When I was a high school freshman, I went on a summer trip to Beijing. There, I visited the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, and several prestigious universities. I determined that I will study in a great university in Beijing after high school. -

In 2001, I went to Beijing for college. I studied educational technology for my bachelor's and master's degrees at Beijing Normal Univeristy (BNU). -
UVA
I came to USA at the end of 2007 as a PhD student. I studied at the Univeristy of Virginia. My academic area was school adminstration. I lived in Charlottesville, VA for about two and a half years; there, I completed all the program coursework before I moved to another state... -

I moved to Alabama with my husband in fall, 2010. We lived there for 3 years. I was working at the University of Alabama first as an adjunct professor and then as an instructional designer. I also completed my doctoral dissertation while I was in AL. -
Stella
One of the most exciting things in AL was the birth of our daughter, Stella. She is now a big girl:-) -
MNSU
I started to work at Minnesota State University, Mankato in November 2013. I work with faculty, staff and students on a variety of projects related to instructional technology and design. I also conduct evaluation for the Information Technology Services Division at the university. -
ELI Conference
Early this year, I got a chance to present at the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative Conference in California to introduce our technology evaluation projects to the national audience. -
Selina
Our second child was born this summer. Her name is Selina. After 8 weeks of maternity leave, I am now very excited to get back to work. I look forward to learning and working with you.
