Proclamation of 1763
The Proclamation of 1763 prohibited the use of land past point on the Appalacian Mountains. Even if the land was used for settlement, King George 3rd forbade the land to use past an imaginary line along these mountains. This picture shows the line drawn (pink). -
Sugar Act
