All Jews in Sosnowiec were forced to relocate to the Stara Sosnowiec which is significantly smaller than what Vladek and his family is use to since they are cramped into 2 and a 1/2 rooms. -

Richieu dies from poison which was given to him by Tosha who killed both the children and her with the poison to avoid the gas chambers. -
Entering Auschwitz
Vladek and Anja arrive at Auschwitz after being betrayed by the smugglers. -

After enduring Auschwitz, Vladek leaves the camp after a battle occurs 25 miles from the death camp and eventually, he makes his way to Switzerland. -

Vladek reunites with Anja in Sosnowiec after walking there in a span of 3 to 4 weeks. -
