Uncle Ronnie
When Marshall was 19 his mothers brother Uncle Ronnie commited suicide after being rejected by a girl. This incident is what hit Marshall the hardest as Ronnie a was like an older brother to him with only a couple years between the two, Ronnie was Marshall's only male role model and looked up to him like no other. Although, Ronnie did do one thing right before taking his own like as he is the one that introduced Marshall to rap music and started what one day would become a rap god. (Hasted, 73) -

The Beginning of Dre and Em
Eminem was flown out to LA to meet Dr. Dre for his very first time and discuss a rap record and signing onto his label "When I met Dre in the Interscope, I was awestruck. I was such a big fan. A Rap Legend Teaching Tricks

Lyricist Lounge Tour Time
Eminems overall career began coming together when Dre and Interscope productions sent Em on the Lyricist Lounge Tour and released his first single "Still don't give a f***". Em reflects on this tour and time in his life says, "The lyricist Lounge tour? My production company hooked it, I guess... I don't really know. Eminem was nominated for 4 different Grammy titles in 2001 including Best Rap Album which he won, Best Rap Solo Performance which again he won, Best Rap Performance by a Duo or a group which him and Dre took together and finally the Album of the year which he did not receive.
