  • First Decade

    From the point someone is born to the point they are ten years old is a very important time in their life. The physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of how they grow up shape the rest of their life. This is why its essential for children to receive proper nutrition, physical activity, education and most importantly love from their parents.
  • Second Decade

    The individual is now between the ages of 10 and 20. In this time in their life more freedom and self-discipline has been introduced in their life. Meaning it's their responsibility to start caring for their health in all aspects of life. In this time its also important to note that kids need to be using sunscreen and taking care of their skin so that in the future they do not get skin cancer.
  • Third decade

    This is the period between 20 and 30 years old for the individual. In which its very essential for an individual to make great health choices that are to benefit their life rather than hurt it. Some suggestions are to eat healthy, exercise regularly, avoiding illegal substances, getting proper sleep and practicing good hygiene.
  • Fourth Decade

    In this time and individual is between the ages of 30-40, which is when people start to glimpse at the affects of aging, but can still do most things they could in their youth. Exactly why its very important for individuals to take care of their health in this time. Some tips to stay healthy are to maintain proper weight, get plenty of exercise, sleep, and proper nutrients. As well as avoiding drugs, to much sun, and accidents that can cause physical damage in which may not be recoverable.
  • Fifth Decade

    Living in your 40's in when most people start to feel the affects of aging really start to begin. So again, its absolutly crucial to keep healthy habits because if you dont here are some of the things that could happen. It is very common for people in their 40's to have chronic pain, reproductive health issues, skin problems, obesity/out of shape, and changes in vission and hearing.
  • Sixth Decade

    From the age of 50 to 60 is when the affects of aging are truly in full gear and its extremly hard to reverse some of the choices people made in their health during their time living before. Again eating healthy, exercising, and maintaining proper body weight are all essential to keep on staying healthy. As well as not using drugs, smoking, and reducing alcohol use. Its highly recommended that at this point in someones life they see a doctor and physical therapist often.
  • Seventh

    To live healthy in the ages between sixty and seventy is a hard thing to do. There is still the basic health advice, but at this point if it isn't constantly taken seriously every decision shortens ones life span. Also doctor visits need to be more frequent and its good to have family nearby to help care for you if needed. Smoking at this age is literally choosing to take months of your life (did before, but has more affect the older you get).
