Death of my grandaddy
He was a loving human and faced many challenges with his health. His death made me more determined , a “go getter”, and someone who wants to accomplish their dreams and goals to make him proud. -
First time dancing on a dance team
We traveled and did activities as a team. dancing made me overcome a lot of obstacles in my life and one of them being that I'm not shy anymore and I'm more confident. -
Being in the CRC Program
CRC is higher courses and was based around planning future goals for college. The college readiness center helped me map out my plan for the future such as my plans and goals I want to accomplish in life, research more about what I want to become and what colleges I want to go to . -

I worked at the register taking people orders. This helped me learn the experience of working at a young age -

IB is a international program for higher education. The IB program made me challenge myself and reminded me not to give up on anything . -
Corona
Corona is a virus that can potentially kill people. Due to being home since corona happened it helped me realize the person I really am and I didn't feel the vibes of the people I surrounded myself around. It showed me that I'm a loner and don't need anyone . -
My first Job
I worked at Dairy Queen making ice cream and taking customers orders. Having my first job made me more responsible and showed me how to save my own money. -
My niece being born
This is my first niece on my mom’s side and I was so happy when she came into this world. This shaped me to become something in life so my niece can look up to me and have a positive influencer in her life to teach/show her right from wrong. -
Ap classes
Ap is college level curricular and examinations to high school students. Ap shows me that I am able to take on certain challenges that i’ve never faced before and get through them no matter how difficult they are. -
Dual enrollment
Dual enrollment allows highschool students to to take on college courses while they are still enrolled in highschool. Dual enrollment shaped me by showing me how intelligent I am and getting me prepared for college as far as credit wise and mentally. -
Buy my dream house
I want to decorate my house, make it organized, and show people that I’m determined to get stuff done at a young age.This matters to me because I want to be in my own space and I can start now by learning how to save my money and take care of responsibilities like for example I can be helping my mom pay bills to get a head start to see how easy/hard it can be to be independent -
Become a lawyer
I’ve been wanting to be a lawyer since I was younger. I want to be able to let people tell their sides of the story and better society. This matters to me because becoming a lawyer is my dream career and to do that NOW I can start taking my future seriously and try to communicate with people better and increase my vocabulary .
