Fugitive Slave Act
The Fugitive Slave Act is also another way of saying "Comprimise of 1850." It was a law and also continued the operation of the Underground Railroad. This also claimed freedom in some states. -
Kansas-Nebraska Act
The Kansas-Nebraska Act allowed people who lived in the Kansas-Nebraska territory to decide whether or not they wanted to allow slavery. This Act caused many pro-slavery and anti-slavery people to rush into the area o help make a decision. -

The Battle of Gettysburg was fought in many different places. It was, again, the Unions against the Confederates. North had failed in this battle, it resulted in a mass amount of casualties. -
Surrender at Appomattox
Confederates were completely surrounded by the Union. They had no choice but to surrender, otherwise, they would be killed. -
