    The Fugitive Slave Act is also another way of saying "Comprimise of 1850." It was a law and also continued the operation of the Underground Railroad. This also claimed freedom in some states.

    The Kansas-Nebraska Act allowed people who lived in the Kansas-Nebraska territory to decide whether or not they wanted to allow slavery. This Act caused many pro-slavery and anti-slavery people to rush into the area o help make a decision.
