    Mini Musical

Over the first 10 years of my life, I remember growing a love for musicality, the joys of playing music, and singing from my newborn days to about late 2012 - early and middle 2013. My time in piano and church singing brought me joy and happiness. What I didn't realize then, was that all of my joy could be turned off in a instant.

    Middle School Hiatus

These 3 years were my middle school years where I had completely disregarded music and didn't do anything with it unless I was forced. Music and piano practice became a chore rather than a hobby. I tried to pick it back up again between 2017 - 2018 but I got unmotivated and went back to my hiatus of no piano playing.

    Underclassmen Errors

My freshman & sophomore year of high school was not off to the best start. I wasn't trying as much as I could have but I passed my classes with grades I don't normally get. I wasn't trying as much as I could have and even ended up failing a course because I stopped trying. I believe it had something to do with the fact that I wasn't playing any sports and I didn't have any hobbies to distract me from the stress of school.

    Junior Year

This year was the pinacol of my journey thus far. I was at rock bottom - nearly failing my 3rd year and overall feeling miserable because of the recent move and seclusion from everything I did. It took a toll on me and a lot of mental strength to ask for assistance. Once I did, I was persuaded to give piano one more go and it made my life better.

    High School Graduation

My senior year of high school came with it's shares of ups and downs as most years are. The one thing that stuck out to me that particular year was the fact that I put initiative into musicality, specifically piano, by enrolling into the piano course at my school. It helped me to relearn what I had lost but also to find what I liked most about piano.

    College Advancements

As of right now, it's a little bit harder to squeeze my hobbies into my busy schedule. However, the weekends are always free and I take time out of those weekends to practice and work on techniques rather than just playing pieces. It it helpful to know the basics so that I can build upon them and become better at my craft.
