  • Elected in the U.S. House of Representitives

    Lincoln was elected to the U.S. House of Representitves for a single term, while he was in house he opposed the Mexican-American war and the extention of Slavery.
  • Ran for Senate

    Lincoln ran for Senate inb 1858 and in his acceptance speech he says he wants " half-slave and half-free" because he knew that slavery could not be completely diminished from where it already existed.
  • Lincoln Becomes President

    Lincoln won the election of 1860 and became the 16th United States Presidental Election.
