Eat healthy to maintain a good weight, and be sure to exercise. Now is a good time to really start taking care of your body, so protecting skin and eyes is a good idea (this can be done by getting the right nutrients, getting checkups, avoiding indoor tanning, etc.) Some of the most important things to take care of in your 20s are sexual health (have regular screenings for STDs if you are sexually active), and especially be sure to preserve mental and emotional health.

It is easy to overlook personal health in your 30s, perhaps you are caught up with work or your family, but it is incredibly important that people don't forget to maintain a healthy balance in their lives. This can help prevent chronic diseases and accumulated stresss. Starting in the 30s, it become more and more important that we start to build muscle, because it is at this point in our lives that our bodies begin replacing muscle with fat.

If you have not already started healthy habits at this point, then you need to start NOW. As we get older our personal health becomes more important, but this is created through an accumulation of former healthy habits. People begin to grapple with issues like sexual dysfunction, vision changes, hearing loss, and digestive problems among other things at this time.

Now is when living a healthy lifestyle starts to add up. Sure, there is still increased risk for certain diseases, but having lived healthily can really improve the chances of continuing to live comfortably. Tell a doctor if you begin to notice a change in cognitive/mental abilities, as this can potentially be circumvented if looked at.
