    20's
    Healthy eating: Eat protein, calcium, potassium, omega 3 fats and folic acid.
    Physical activity: Exercise regularly and maintain a healthy weight.
    Preventive health care: Get a medical checkup every 2 years. Women should have gynecological exam, men should have testicular exam.
  • 30's

    30's
    Healthy eating: Eat vegetables, fruits, whole grains, iron, folic acid, calcium, potassium, B vitamins.
    Physical activity: Exercise regularly; 30-60 minutes on most days. Try walking, jogging, dancing, biking and more.
    Preventive health care: Don't smoke, avoid drugs, drink in moderation, wear sunscreen, and monitor BMI and cholesterol.
  • 40's

    40's
    Healthy eating: Eating right; avoid smoking and drink alcohol in moderation.
    Physical activity: Exercise regularly to prevent stress, and get at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity on most days.
    Preventive health care: Get physical exam, dental exam, eye exam, blood pressure screening, cholesterol screening, diabetes screening, and skin exams.
  • 50's

    50's
    Healthy eating: Eat good nutrition, less salt. Limit unhealthy fats, and get lots of fruits and vegetables, lean protein, healthy fats, whole grains, fiber, vitamins and minerals.
    Physical activity: Get 30-60 minutes on most days. Walk, jog, swim, hike. Get aerobic exercise for a healthy heart.
    Preventive health care: Get physical, dental, blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, skin, and cancer tests. Don't smoke, get enough sleep, and reduce stress.
  • 60's

    60's
    Healthy eating: Eat fruits and vegetables, whole grain, low fat dairy, lean meats and proteins. Have limited processed foods that have high fat and sugar.
    Physical Activity: Get at least 30 minutes of exercise on most days. Find the right type of exercise.
    Preventive health care: Get regular checkups, health screenings, immunizations, breast exams, colonoscopy, pelvic exams, and check for shingles.
