  • My 20's

    GOALS:
    - Eat a healthy diet to reduce risk for chronic health problems.
    - Exercise regularly and maintain a healthy weight by eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean protein and low- or non fat dairy products.
    - Important nutrients including protein, calcium, potassium, healthy omega-3 fats, and folic acid.
    - Take supplements as recommended by health care provider.
    - Do not smoke.
    - Avoid illegal substances and no alcohol

    - Never drink and drive
    - Get enough sleep
  • My 30's

    GOALS:
    - Maintain a healthy weight.
    - Eat a healthy diet, plenty of vegetables, fruits, whole
    grains, lean protein and low- or nonfat dairy products.
    - Find time to exercise regularly --> can lower risk for heart disease, certain types of cancer and osteoporosis.
    - Aerobic weight-bearing exercise, Strength training
    - Get enough sleep.
    - Take a 20–30 minute nap in the afternoons
  • My 40's

    GOALS:
    - Care for sexual health; watch out for symptoms of cancer (cervical).
    - Skin problems—adult acne, sun damage, age spots and wrinkles— keep skin healthy, contact a dermatologist. Wear a broad spectrum
    sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15.
    - Watch out for changes in vision and hearing loss. Notice that your senses of smell and taste are not as strong as they once were.
    - Urinary incontinence, overactive bladder and digestive problems, including ulcers.
  • My 50's

    GOALS:
    - Eat healthy. Pay attention to good nutrition and cut back on sodium.
    - Stay active, physically and mentally. Get at least 30 minutes of physical activity.
    - Stay in touch with friends & family members who are important
    - Maintain a healthy weight.
    - Keep an eye on waist measurement
    - Do not smoke or use tobacco products.
    - Get enough sleep.
    - Reduce stress. Studies have shown that stress increases the risk for a heart attack, stroke and other serious medical problems.
  • My 60's

    GOALS:
    - Protect your heart.
    - Know your blood pressure, total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides,
    fasting blood glucose, BMI and waist circumference
    - Maintain a healthy weight.
    - Exercise regularly. At least 30 minutes
    - Talk to your health care provider about all medications you take
    - Eat healthy.
    - See health care provider regularly for check-ups,
