Born William Charlson Baker
Although my full name is "William," everyone calls me "Will," as my parents intended. Without being born, I couldn't have become the person I am today, and none of these other events would matter. -
New House!
After about a year of building, my family and I moved into a house in Overbrook, a subdivision of North Little Rock. We are still living in this house, and it has been a constant in my life. No matter what decisions I've make or what has happens to me, it has always been (prettty much) the same, welcoming me inside. -
Little Sister Born
Born Alyssa Noelle Baker, she has impacted my life the most out of any of these things. When she was brought home, I had to learn to be kind, share, and tolerate other people. I had to use these things right around when I was learning them at daycare. My little sister Alyssa, along with my parents' guiding of taking care of her, has shaped me by hardening the simple, yet infinitely important, rules of life we all learned as toddlers. -

Little Rockers Marathon
Starting late in 2005, I started running everyday for the Little Rockers Marathon. The Marathon requires that you run 25 miles prior to the final day, when you run the last 1.2 miles around a predetermined trail around the city. My parents, especially my dad, were all over me about keeping on my running schedule. This marathon tought me to stick to my goals and persevere. -

First Day at Cathedral School
This was the first major turning point in my life. Prior to Cathedral, I attended Immaculate Conception, or I.C. for short. My mom moved me to Cathedral because she knew I wasn't being cerebrally challenged. Without my mom's decision to move to Cathedral, I might not have ever gotten to show my passion for knowledge or had preparation to go to a great college. -
First Day at Episcopal
When my mom put me in Cathedral, she knew I would carry on into Episcopal Collegiate. Cathedral was a quiet downtown shcool. The classes were mild and it was a beautiful gothic campus. Episcopal ended these happy days, flinging homework and tests at me, and forcing me to focus on schoolwork. My first day at Episcopal symbolized the start of my serious learning, preparing me for college and the challenges of the world after. At Episcopal, I have made lifelong friends, and refined my personality. -
Beginning of Teton Trip
On August 14, 2012, the freshman class flew to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The following 4 days, we drove to Yellowstone National Park, and gathered water quality information from the surrounding area, among other things. This experiences of the trip allowed me to bond with the new students, strengthen existing bonds, and has changed my perspective of our impact on the natural world.
