Being born
Being born was the most important event in my life probably because it started my life. -
Kate Madison Graham
On June 28, 2002 my Nonna took me to the hospital to see my baby sister for the very first time. I was so thrilled to have an actual "baby doll" to play with. Having a baby sister in the family forced me to learn how to share everything that had once been all mine -
Meeting Ayanna Worsham
At the beginning of kindergaten I was extremely nervous because I was very shy and I didn't know any one. As soon as I got to Mrs. Teresa's class I met Ayanna Worsham and right away we were friends. This taught me to never avoid meeting new people because they could end up being one of your best friends. -
Hope Caroline Graham
On August 8, we all rushed to the hospital to see our brand new baby Hope Caroline and I can honestly say that I have spoiled her since the day she way born. Everytime she got in trouble I would take her in to another room and so will anyone else because she is the youngest and has all of us wrapped around her finger. Hope has taught me that nothing is ever as it seems. -
Uncle Ricky getting remarried
My uncle already had 3 girls when he met Beccy in 2008 and married her during the summer of 2009. Beccy had 3 kids too so now we had 3 more additions to our family: Braden, Bryce, and Brianna. Getting 3 new cousins helped me to meet new people because up until then I hadn't really had to get to know someone and although I was nervous then I cannot imagine my life without any of them -
Learning about Bryce
After my uncle got remarried and I got to now my new family immediately I noticed that something was different about Bryce, He had trouble doing things like walking, sitting, getting up, and when we picked him up it was extremely hard. Later on we all learned that Bryce had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This has made me more understanding and accepting of others who are different than me. -
Teton Science School
At the beginning of freshman year our grade traveled to Teton, Wyoming. This was a major event in my life because it was the first time that I had been away from my parents for that long and I did it which really helped me with my fear of being away from home.
