  • Bahamas

    Bahamas
Going to the Bahamas was the first "big" family vacation i've went on. I remember how excited I was to go on the plane super early in the morning, that I could barely sleep the night before. There were so many water parks and fun things to do there. I was more excited to spend my b-day there. One of the main things I remember was when my cousins and I got "lost" at one of the water parks, when in reality we were just walking in continuous circles since we don;t have the best observation skills.
  • My first kitten

    My first kitten
When I was born, my parents already has two cats. Max and Sasha. Because I was always with cats since I was young, I've learned to love cats more than any other pet. Sadly, my cat Max has passed away, and we didn't want Sasha to be alone, so we decided to get a kitten. His name was Zeus. I was so overjoyed when my dad had surprised me by taking me to one of the rescue centers to bring him home. 12 days after we got Zeus, he passed away due to a rare illness.
  • My Appendix Surgery

    My Appendix Surgery
I remember waking up roughly around 11:58 with the strangest pain in my lower right stomach area.I had assumed these were hunger pains since I had an early dinner, so I decided not to bring it to my moms attention. At about 3:00 in the morning, I wake up again to the most excruciating pain I have ever felt in all my years of existence. I tried to sit up to grab some water to try and calm myself down, but I could barely move. My right leg felt as if it was completely paralyzed. I needed surgery.
  • Endoscopy

    Endoscopy
Sophmore year was pretty stressful for me, and some of the things that took place that year really took a toll on me. Towards the end of my sophomore year, I managed to stress myself out to the extent to where my stomach would hurt really bad. My parents had no clue why this was happening, so we went to my doctor who shortly set up an appointment for me to get an endoscopy. I was really nervous to have the procedure done but we soon found out that I gave myself acid reflux, since I always stress
  • Learning Stick Shift

    Learning Stick Shift
My dad was always consistent with keeping his words of me driving stick shift perfectly before I drive automatic. I kept hoping he would forget, until it actually happened. I got into the car trembling with fear over the fact that I was going to stall out as soon as the key turned the car on. I was right about that. Everytime I went to drive off, the car stalls once again. It kept happening over and over again, that you could actually smell the burnt clutch. After a few days, I slowly got it.
  • The discovery of my extra vertebrae

The discovery of my extra vertebrae
I remember during the summer, I would always complain of strange back pains. I tried doing some simple stretches and sleeping differently to try and ease the pain, but nothing helped. My parents thought it was a good idea for me to go visit my family friend who is a chiropractor to see what was going on. He ordered me some x-rays and we shortly discovered I had scoliosis due to me being born with an extra vertebrae. This was the strangest thing I have ever been told to this day.
  • My first car

    My first car
My first car is a 2012 Fiat 500 Sport. This car had first belonged to my Nonno, and luckily he let me buy it from him. I love this car more than anything. It does so well on fuel and the sound system is AMAZING. All my friends call it the "clown car" since it seems like such a small car compared to others, but as a 17 year old, this car is perfect for me. Before I got this car, it would just sit in a garage all day everyday since my Nonno got another car, but now I use it to go everywhere.
  • Flag Football Finals

    Flag Football Finals
I've always loved football ever since I was in my tomboy phase. Football was the first sport I fell in love with. Everyday at recess I would play with all the boys on the tackle team, and try to convince my dad into letting me play, and failed every time, until I heard my school has a flag football team. I was in my glory. Luckily I made the team and succeeded in almost every game we had, until we reached our championship game. My whole team and I worked so hard for this game, but sadly we lost.
  • Italy

    Italy
Coming from a 100% Italian family, we've all been dying to go to Italy, and this year it finally happened. My family never really went on vacations since my parents were always busy with work, so this vacation was pretty important to us. When we arrived, it was like a whole new world, and during my time there, it was like I was living a completely different lifestyle. I loved it, It was like an escape from reality. I enjoyed every second there and being with all my family from there as well.
  • My first job

    My first job
I was always a shy kid growing up, and I never liked talking to people I didn't know. Because of that, I was second guessing my decision to work at Ace pretty badly. The only thing I could think about was having to talk to people I didn't know and having to become friendly with all my other co-workers that I would see on a daily basis. After my second day of working there, I was practically best friends with everyone there. I love seeing everyone there and it's safe to say this job bettered me.
