In the summer of 2018 after signing with the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James built his very own school in Akron, Ohio which will expand from grades 1-8 by 2022. Children are provided with breakfast lunch and snacks, a free bike and helmet, and if they complete the "I Promise" program LeBron will fully cover their tuition to the University of Akron. LeBron himself has describes this as "One of the greatest moments in his life".
