The oppressed Africans in haiti saw that the French revolution was happening so they decided to rise up against their masters. Because their masters treated them brutally, they revolted. They wanted to free themselves from the European ruling. The africans led the revolution. The enslaved Africans and Toussaint were the leaders of the revolution. -

The Haitian revolution fought against the french. Toussaint's lieutenant took up the fight for freedom and in 1804 the colony was declared an independent country. They ended slavery in haiti and they became the first Black country to free themselves from the europeans. -

They first fought because of the Enlightenment ideas and then when they got defeated, In 1820 Mexico’s creoles feared that they would lose their privileges if the Spanish controlled so they decided to unite for Mexico’s independence from Spain. The Indians and the Mestizos led this revolution. The individual leaders of the revolution were Miguel Hidalgo and Jose Maria Morelos. -

The creoles felt no loyalty to a king that was put by the French. The creoles knew about the consent of government, which said that the power shifted to the people when the king was removed, and that’s when they decided to rebel. The creoles led the revolution. Simon Bolivar and Jose de San Martin were the individuals that led the revolution. -

The revolution started when King John and the Portuguese government returned to Portugal, King John wanted to make brazil a colony again. However Brazilians did not want to return to colonial status. The Brazilian revolution was fighting against portugal. The revolution was successful because in 1822 the creoles demanded Brazil’s independence from Portugal. They asked Dom Pedro to rule, he did, and later them he declared Brazil’s independence. -

In this revolution they fought against Spain. The revolution was successful because in 1823 they overthrew Iturbide, who did not want to recognize the declarations of Independence. In that time Central America declared its independence from Mexico. -
The end of the Southern American Revolution
The southern revolution fought against spain. With unified forces, they went on to defeat the spaniard in Peru. The revolution was successful because all of the Spanish colonies in Latin America gained their independence. They freed each of the colony little by little until they finally freed all of the colonies.
