    The revolution started due to the white plantation owners. They used brutal methods against the slaves. The social classes that participated were slaves. Many enslaved Africans rose in revolt, as the French Revolution had been taking place. The leaders of the revolution were Toussaint L'Ouverture and Jean-Jacques.

    The End of the Haitian Revolution
    The oppressed people in the French colony of Haiti rose up against their masters. Toussaint rose up and took control of the whole island and freed all the enslaved Africans. The revolution ended when General Dessalines declared the colony an independent country. The revolution was very successful because they got their independence and ended slavery.

    The revolution started due to Simon Bolivar native Venezuela wanting their independence from Spain. Although he had to go to exile twice, soon later he had a turning point in August. The social classes that participated were creoles. The leaders of the revolution were Simon Bolivar and Jose de San Martin.

    The way the revolution started was due Miguel Hidalgo taking his first steps towards having independence. He was poor but a well-educated man. The social classes that participated were mestizos, creoles, and indians. The leaders of the revolution were Miguel Hidalgo and Jose Maria Morelos.

    The End of the Mexican Revolution
    Hidalgo's Indian and mestizo followers began to march toward Mexico City. Morelos had led the revolution for four years. In 1815 a creole officer defeated him. The revolution ended when a revolution in Spain put a liberal group in power. The Mexican creoles feared the loss of their privileges in the Spanish-controlled colony. The revolution was indeed successful due to earning their independence in Mexico.

    The way the revolution started was when Napoleon's armies invaded both Spain and Portugal. Prince John and the royal family boarded ships to escape capture. The social classes that participated were creoles. The leaders of the revolution were King John and a royal member of the family.

    The Portuguese had fought against the Portugueses. The revolution ended when Brazil had gained their independence. Napoleon had gotten defeated in 1850 , which was the reason why King John went to Brazil. The revolution was indeed very successful because of the fact that Brazil achieved their goal on winning their independence.

    Simon Bolivar and San Martin fought against Peru. San Martin left his army to Bolivar. Now with unified army's, Bolivar took his army and went to defeat the Spanish at the Battle of Ayacucho (Peru). The revolution ended when the Latin American won their freedom. Indeed it was very successful because countries were united. Those countries were Venezuela, Colombia, Panama, and Ecuador.
