The Klan began in Tennesse. The members of the Klan gathered in the hall offices. It was said that college students joined the Klan. -
The Peak of Power
Approxiately at the time the Klan battled for a social order. At this time the Klan burnt crosses on Thanksgiving Eve as a symbol of rebirth. They began to enscribe mountians with the KKK symbols. William Simmons restarted the KKK now and started a movie called, "Birth of Nation." -
The Klan State
David Stevenson began to organize the KKK. The Klan claimed that they were a Christian organization. Republicans were picked out by Stevenson, Then Stevenson ended up going to jail. -
Fighting Back
This is when the Klan decided to fight back and at this time a teenager was killed. Someone had got the mother of the teenager to take out a law suit against the Klan. -
Under the Surface
At this time the Klan waited to rise again. The Court was against the segregation. The Klan decreased to100 thousands. The Klan ended up getting charged back taxes. At this point Sam Green was the new KKK leader. -
A license to Grow
There was a Court Case that started to fight the segregation in the schools. The KKK then began to boycotting. This is when they began to start to murder people. -
Bombingham
At this time Birmingham had alot of unsolved bombings. The police began to work with the Klan. In Birmingham a Baptist Church became a big target. A small group of girls got killed by the bombing that went on in Birmingham -
Klan Killing Fields
Police began to help the Klan kill civil rights workers. Then the Klan became protected by the political figure of that time. The Klan took a stand against the African Americans. -
The Klan Goes to Jail
The Klan members finally got caught and went to jail for a murder. Klan also lost against the Civil Rights Member. The Klan found a new informant. Prosecuting the men began at this time. -
The New Klan
The Klan began looking for new issues to fight. The Klan also held alot more rallies. David Duke was the leader of this new KKK. He want to clean up the damage and image of the KKK. -
Terror in the Night
The Jews ended up having an economic boycott. The Klan the became nation wide and started killing Catholics because the klan believed that they had foreign rulers. This Klan began killing and murdering people and eventually the Klan took rule of the place in Louisanna. -
The Klan of Today
The Klans are still around today just without the white sheets. They still have rallies and speeches about African Americans and Jews, but there are not as many crowds.
