Parents Died
My parents died when me and my brother were running errands. They died because they got burned in a house fire. -
Started to rebuild House
Me and my brother started to rebuild our house that got burned down because of then't pay fire. The fire happened because we couldn't pay taxes. -
Decided to Move to America
I thought I would have a better future in America. -
Left Ireland
Left Ireland with my brother. We left because our parents died and we could not afford the taxesof the house. -
Arrived to America and Heard of the Homestead act of 1862
I left my family in Ireland to travel to America with my brother, since woman can't travel alone. -
Brother spent all our money
My brother snuck out in the middle of the night and took the moneywe had been saving. He bought a horse and some clothes for him. -
Stole my Brothers horse
I stole my brothers horse atnight and rode to minnesota. I did this because my brother was not who is normally is and he is spendig money like crazy. -
Arrived in Minesota
I moved to Minnesota to get some land while I wait for the land rush. -
Started Journey to Oklahoma
I left my home in Mnnesota to go to Oklahoma. I left for three main reasons. One of them was tha my house got destroyed by a fallen tree. Also that the weather was really bad in Minnesota no matter what time of year. The last thing is that theland rush was coming up. -
Participated in the Oklahoma Land Rush
I wanted more land so I decided to do the land rush. I got some land but it was very far away and it was hard to win it over. -
Started my farm
I started my farm and got feilds full of crops. I even got enough money to buy some more animals.
