Booth was hiding out in the shadows in front of the theatre ready to go in around 9:00 PM. -

Booth jumps from the stage after shooting Lincoln, yells a few words onstage, and then runs out of the theatre to his horse to ride away. -

Beginning at 8:00 PM, Booth sets up assignments for each of his conspirators for who would kill who. Booth would kill Lincoln, Powell would kill Seward, & Atzerodt would kill Johnson. -

At 10:13 PM, Booth squeezes the trigger and shoots Lincoln behind the left ear. The bullet went through his skull and into his brain.
