S: find places that are hiring
M: apply for 3-4 jobs within one week that pays 10 dollars per hour.
A: call to schedule an interview at a business that's hiring
R: the opportunity cost of having a job means I will have my own money to spend but I will be giving up time on the weekends to hang out with friends.
T: I will start working a part-time job within 3 weeks -
Step 1
Find businesses that are hiring and go get applications that I can fill out -
Step 2
Decide what place you want to get a job at and then call to schedule an interview -
Step 3
Go to interview and get hired, then start working the next week -
Step 4
Work 3-5 days a week with the job I get hired for. And work for 3 hours during the week and 4 on weekends. -

Get my first paycheck after working for a month at my job -

Start working, get paid, set aside 10 dollars to start saving for college -
Long Term Goal
S: I want to be a nurse
M: I will save 1,000 for college and go to college
A: I will save up 10-20 dollars every two months instead of spending on other things
R: The opportunity cost of saving money will be more important than spending on new things so I can get into nursing after college
T: I will save for a year -
Step 2
After saving 1,000 dollars for a year, I will use that and the money that's already been saved for me and use it to pay for my tuition at Scott Community College. -
Step 3
Begin classes in the fall of 2021 at SCC! -
Step 4
Complete first year of college! During the first take, classes to get into nursing after I graduate from Scott in 2023. -
Step 5
Graduate from SCC in 2023! Graduate from the SCC Nursing Program! Major in nursing, and minor in theatre! Apply to work at the U of I Children's Hospital!
