A big step up in effeciency from the Spinning Jenny and Flying Shuttle, the Spinning mule was powered by a mule walking aroundin a circle to move gears. This was a huge help to the textille factory workers, and now they didn't have to push piano pedals welded to a huge machine for seventeen hours straight. -
