    Camillo di Cavour, directed the Italian unification. the Prussian name for an aristocratic landowner from old Prussia in the east. Otto Bon Bismark lead the military army through Blood, iron and a clear understanding of the term independence. Bismark wanted to mainly strengthen the position of Prussia in Europe. He wanted to unify north German states under Prussia's control.

They were deeply involved with the nationalist movement.by the experienced realist Cavour, yielded his territories to Cavour in the name of Italian unification. This united Italy and helped it become an independent country. But though this happened it was followed by the Franco Prussian war.
