Independence

At this stage, you are leaving your parents home and finding your own. At the age of 18, I have moved into my new apartment and I will be starting my freshman year of college in a few months.

Marriage

This is stage 2, where people find their partner and marry them. At 25, I met someone and decided to get married.

Parenthood

Sep 30, 2028

Stage 3 is parenthood. This is where people start a family with their partner and become parents. At 27, I gave birth to my first and only child.

Launching Children

Nov 1, 2048

This is where the children leave the parent's house and start a cycle of their own. My daughter has moved out and I'm trying to adjust to not having much parental duties.

Retirement

Jun 1, 2070

This the last stage of the family cycle, where the children have left and you are retired. My husband and I have officially retired.
