No Child Left Behind Act required educators and schools to teach their children to a certain standard and required test scores to prove their children reached the standard. -
IDEA 2004
Individuals with Disabilities Education Act increased the quality of education for disabled children by requiring educators to have proper certification, a proper scientific education and services to insure the best education experience, and also transition planning. -
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
This Act offered a large some of money that was used to further help programs that educated special needs children. However, this was a one time thing.
