Treaty of Paris 1
The first Treaty of Paris ended the French and Indian War. This treaty also stated that France would give up all their territories to The British giving us much more land. -
Stamp Act
The stamp act taxed any documents, birth paper, and even playing cards. Many of he colonist became very angry with this silly law. -
Quartering Act
This act was yet another silly act passed by British. The Quartering Act stated that any American colonist, rich or poor, would have to share their homes with British troops. This really made Americans mad. -
Townshend Acts
The Townshend Acts were a series of acts past on the colonist. With four acts in total Americans had to pay tax on glass, lead, paints, papers, and tea. -
Boston Massacre
A squad of british soldiers where sent to Boston. On the cold night of March 5, 1770, American citizens started taunting british soldiers garding a building. The soldiers became so anger the once tanting group was silenced. 3 americans were killed immediately, the other two died because of the wounds. 6 others were also injured in the incident. Americans tried to defend themselfs by throwing hard packed snowballs, but it was no use. -
Tea Act
The Tea Act was passed this very day of May 10, 1773. The Tea Act was pasted because British was in debt from fight the French and Indian War. Looking to their trusty colonies we were taxed on tea. The tea was coming from the British East India Company, now though instead of just buying this wanted tea we also had to give tax too. -
Bosten Tea Party
On the cold day of December American Patriots dumped 342 chests of tea in the Harbor. All the tea was from the British East India Company. The Patriots were upset because their was such a high price of tea and the tax was getting higher and higher by the day. The british lost an enormous amout of money that day.
