I was born in 1840. Im very lucky that i got born into a rich family. My dad and mom work at are big farm. We also live in a very big house.

My life

Aug 21, 1860

i was born into a rich farming family. We had a really big farm. Our farms soil is very good so thats how our family flourished.We didnt have much but we did have a very big house. Also we have our big farm lots of seeds.

Parents died

Dec 22, 1860

My parents died suddenly. I didnt know what to do. Mabye I should be a immigrant like other people that have moved. I dont want to around my nieghbors anymore.

my house

Jan 17, 1861

I packed everything up and sold my house. I had to leave my house because im to young to be able to own it. I was scared to go to America because i didnt know if i was going to fit in and get a job.Also i didnt know if i would have a place to sleep.

Sick

Oct 22, 1861

I was very sick right before I left to the ships.Luckly I had gotten my sicknessa couple weeks before i left. When i got to the ship i still had a caugh and I was scared. I did make it onto the ship and passed the first inspection.

The ride

Oct 25, 1861

The whole ride on the ship i was sick. I was sick before i went to the sick but i was getting better. But right when i thought i was getting better other people got me more sick. Somehoe i still passed the inspections

Oregon Trail

Feb 2, 1862

Not many people were still on the Oregon trail. I was almost alone but there were some other wagons there.When I was about ¾ of the way to California one of my bulls got sick and died. So I only had 3 the rest of the way.

My house and property

Feb 7, 1863

I was getting to oregon late. I couldnt buy a horse to get my land. I got my land though throught the Homestead Act. i got 160 acres free.

The End

Oct 22, 1900

I died. I ate a poisons berry that killed me.
