This was authorized to help raise students academics achievements for struggling students with disabilities and without. Also they help students that come from poverty family with low incomes.

  • Mills v. Board of Education of the District of Columbia

    This case a lawsuit against the Board of Education of the District of Columbia. This case was filed because the Board of Columbia violated DC laws by denying publicly funded education. The case reached a settlement agreement on December 20, 1971 with publicly funded education.

  • Public Law 99-457

    Public Law 99-457 to make available appropriate and free public education to children ages 3 through 5 who are disabled. before this law children with a disability wouldn't get treated equally at all.   • IDEA Started

    President Gerald Ford Passage signed the Education for All Handicapped Children Act this was also called Open Law 94-142. This law required all expresses that acknowledged cash from the government were required to give level with access to instruction to kids with disability.
