Arrest of Henry Yorke
Richard Acklom Harrison, Collector of Customs in Hull, captured Henry Yorke, alias Redhead, who was wanted for making seditious speeches. Harrison took the pilot boat out into the Humber and arrested Yorke after boarding his ship. -

Royal visit
The Mayor of Hull, Sir Samuel Standidge, entertained at his house, 1 High St, HRH Prince William Frederick of Gloucester. He was the first royal to visit Hull since Charles 1 was turned away in 1642. -
