    The Molasses Act in 1733 Was a British law that imposed a tax on molasses, sugar, and rum imported from non-British foreign colonies into the North American colonies. The main purpose of this Act was to make more money for Great Britain by controlling trade among its colonies. the tax was meant to discourage the colonies from Trading with the French West Indians for the molasses that they used for their rum And force them to buy their molasses from Great Britain instead.

    1754 - The french and indian war
    The French and Indian War started on May 28th, 1754 and I think ended in 1764. the American Indians were fighting to maintain control of their land and their cultural feature. the French claimed the upper Ohio River Valley. They wanted to trade with the American Indians and control the area the British also claimed the upper river valley. Things that caused the war were claims between Great Britain and France over territory and waterways, beaver trade, religious differences, and ect.

    The British parliament Past the Sugar Act in 1764. it provided for a strongly enforced tax on sugar, molasses, and other products imported into the American colonies from non-British Caribbean sources the Act was also called the plantation act or the Revenue Act. Early colonial protests against these duties were ended when the tax was lowered 2 years later. The protected price of British sugar actually benefited New England distillers though they did not appreciate it.

    On March 22nd, 1765 The Stamp Act, or the Duties in American Colonies Act required colonies to pay taxes on every page of printer paper they used. the tax also included fees for playing cards dice and newspapers. I did this to artist troops stationed in the colonies during the Seven Years' War. The ACT required the colonies to pay tax, presented by a stamp, on various forms of papers, docs, and playing cards.

    1770- The Boston masicare
    The Boston Massacre was a street fight that occurred on March 5th, 1770 between a mob/crowd confronted British soldiers in the streets of the city. The mob insulted and threatened them, throwing snowballs, stones, and sticks, the soldiers fired their muskets, killing five colonists. A big factor was that it had to do with taxation without representation. in addition to this, British troops had been sent to Boston to enforce tax laws in the colonists resented the British troops.

    The Boston Tea Party act that took place in 1773 was a protest in which a group of 60 American colonies through 342 chests of tea into Boston Harbor to agitate against both attacks on tea (Which had been an example of taxation without representation.) It took place on the winter night of Thursday 1773 according to the eyewitness testimonies, the Boston Tea Party occurred between the hours of 7:00 and 10:00 p.m. and lasted for approximately 3 hours.

    The first shots of the Revolutionary War took place on April 19th, 1775 they were fired at Lexington and Concord in Massachusetts. the news of the bloodshed Rockets along the Eastern seaboard, in thousands of volunteers coverage called ¨minute men¨ On Cambridge, Mass. it also said these are the beginnings of the Continental Army. I didn't quite understand everything about this it didn't go into depth of why this occurred or how it did.
