HItler fights in WWI
Hitler fought in world war one and was critically injured by a shell fragment in his leg. After two years of fighting he finally recieved some rest during his recovery. After he was released from the hospital he visited Berlin and noticed a lot of anti- war feelings. Blinded by his derogatory feelings toward the Jews he naturally blamed them which fueled his hatred even more. Eventaully hitler recieved five militarty metals which reinforced his strong leadership and drive for success. -
Germany surrends- Treaty of Versailles
The war ends with germany surrendering and admitting guilt. The fact the Germany was forced to admit guilt and full responsibility for the war infuriated hitler. Later hitler would use this as motivation to fight harder and restore Germany's good name. -
Formation of Nazi party
The nazi party has officially been formed and hitler is the leader. -
Hitler leads Nazi party
HItler has become phenomenal at speaking and connecting with large crowds. He is now the official leader of the nazi party. Not only has he gained more power, but he has used his extraordinary public speaking skills to gain support from the citizens of germany. -
Beer Hall Putsch
The beer hall poutsch was hitlers attempt to over throw the established government in Germany. This attemped failed and he was later tried for treason. -
Hitler is on trial
Hitler is on trial for his actions during the Beer Hall Putsch. Rather than denying what he did he openly admitted to trying to overthrow the government. In his eyes the only traitors were the politicians. -
Mein Kampf Wirtten
HItlers bok Mein Kampf is released sometime in early 1925. In this book he shares details about his childhood, early days in NAzi party and his plans for Germany. Esentially this book was the blue print for the holocaust. Had this been taken seriously we might have been able to avoid this atrocity. -
Stock market crash
This is the day when the stock market crashed. This was caused by everybody pulling their money out of the stock market this sent the country spiralling toward depression. -
Hitler becomes Chancellor
Hitler becomes chancellor "President" of germany. At this time germany was not interested in democratic governmentsand the great depression was taking a toll on the german citizens. Most common people were without homes, jobs, and food. Hitler gained much of his power by convincing these people to have faith in him to rebuild germnay. -
The reichstag building burns
Marinus van der Lubbe sets fire to the Reichstag building as a redical way to protest capitalism and start a revolt. -
Hitlers rise to take over germnay
HItler begans systematically taking over state and governement positions rising to power politically. This eventually led to him becoming the dictator. -
Nazis in Reichstag
During hitlers first day in office he manipulated the government so that he could hold special elections enabling members of the Nazi party to gain majority in Reichstag. This is similar to democrats and republicans fighting for majority in the house.
