    Hitler joined the small party and quickly rose to leadership through his captivating speeches. He encouraged "pure" Germany, he condemned the Jews, he changed the name of the party to (NASDAP) Nazi Party. By the end of 1920, the Party had about 3,000 members and a year later Hitler was their leader.
