    This school is called the Perkins School for the Blind. This school is located in Watertown Massachusetts. The school was originally called New England Asylum for the Blind. The idea for this school was by John Dix Fisher. The school was named in honor of a man by the name of Thomas Handasyd Perkins. He was a shipping merchant who started losing his sight at the time of the establishment.

These 6 elements include IEP, FAPE, LRE, Appropriate Evaluation, Parent Teacher Participation, and Procedural Safeguards.
