    When the Brown v. Board of Education law was passed it was because although between whites and blacks education was equal it was still separate. This law was passed to have education be fully equal and together for both races in the classrooms. It ended segregation in education.

    The Elementary and Secondary Education Act is to help low income areas and families. It gives school funding for low income students to receive free and reduce lunch. In low income area schools it also gives them additional teachers to work there.

    When the IDEA law was made it was to have students with disabilities have access to a general education. It also gives states federal funds to help students with any disabilities have an education. One of the purposes of this law is to meet the child's unique needs.

    The No Child Left Behind Act was passed in 2002 by president Bush. Teachers had to be highly qualified to teach special education core academic subjects. Ever since this law students with disabilities graduation rates have increased.
  • Every Student Succeeds Act

    Every Student Succeeds Act
    This law is focused on standardized testing and giving states more control with the terms and what the consequences will be if students score low. Schools are also giving the opportunity to create bullying prevention plans to have every student succeed even with a disability. Every Student Succeeds Act was passed so that every student no matter if they had a disabilities or not are able to succeed in their education.
