Chicano students walk out of San Antonio schools in response to vocational curriculum in the low income trades being the only curriculum available to them.Students were treated as culturally inferior and WASP indoctrination was being forced on them. -

Title IX prohibits discrimination based on sex. It created opportunities for girls in school athletics. -

DACA (Deferred Action Childhood Arrival) students are able to receive SAR (Student Aid Report) money to attend college. This allows students an opportunity to achieve the American dream and contribute to society regardless of their immigration status. -
