  • Dred Scott v. andfordS

    dred scott was married to hariot tubman. the decision of this court case, considered by many legal scholars, to be the worst ever rendered by the supreme court, was overturned by the thirteenth and fourteenth amendments to the constitution, which abolished slavery and declared all persons born int he united stated to be citizens of the united states.

    the supreme court case that ruled racial segregation is unconstitutional and was the start of intergrading schools. however black people and other minorities would still need to be socially accepted at these places.
