    Zhou Dynasty

    The mandate of Heaven started, passed on to the first ruler of the dynasty. Rules of the mandate spread.

    Warring States

    Seven prominent states. Shang Yang's reforms in states, Qin starts ruling parts of china.

    Qin Dynasty

    Qin Shi Huang becomes the first Emperor of China. Continued construction on the Great Wall. Farming innovations flourished.

    Han Dynasty

    States started to unite and create goods and trade routes. The mandates of heaven were kept in check, with rulers upholding it.

    Jin Dynasty

    An uprising in the five barbarians, starting the battle of Fei River and wars of eight princes. This war caused tension throughout China.

    Southern and Northern Dynastys

    Northern Qi, Eastern Wei, Northern Zhou, Western Wei, Southern Qi were all different dynasties in different areas of China.

    Sui Dynasty

    Buddhism spread throughout China. First imperial exams. started grand canals for irrigation of crops.

    The peak of the Tang dynasty. empress Wu Zatians Region. An Lushan's Rebellion.

    Reform of Wang Anshi. jingkang incident= led the empire to another war. Gun powder and the compass invented. The great conquest of the Mongols. Red Turbans battle. China stopped industrializing.
